With over 21 years of experience in psychiatry, Dr. Kiarash Yoosefi is a trusted leader in mental health care. He is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology (ABPN) and holds specialized expertise in psychosomatic medicine and consultation-liaison psychiatry.
Throughout his distinguished career, Dr. Yoosefi has served in several prominent roles, including:
• Lead Forensic Psychiatrist at Northern Virginia Mental Health Institute
• Unit Psychiatrist & Team Leader at INOVA Fairfax Hospital
• Director of ECT Inpatient Services at INOVA Fairfax Hospital
In addition to his clinical work, Dr. Yoosefi is a passionate educator. He serves as a Clinical Instructor at George Washington University’s Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences and is also on the teaching faculty at INOVA Fairfax and the University of Virginia.
